What is Custom Web? Custom Web is an extension for your browser that allows you to customize the website you visit with your own style sheet and scripts.
How do I install and use it?
This is how you install and use the extension:
Install the extension from your Chrome Store and you’re done. Open the extension and click on the "Add a rule" button to add a new style sheet or javascript script. Choose the rule type and enter the URL to the page you want to apply the rules. Select the domain and subdomain for which you want to add rules. Save and you’re done!
Is it safe?
This extension is completely safe! I use it on websites with lots of requests and no ads or scripts. Also, all data is stored on the device and I do not log or keep any info about your website or browser.
Also, if you're afraid that it might leak your data to other people or websites, don't be. With Custom Web, the data is never shared, and no one gets access to your browsing history.
What does it do?
The CSS and Javascript that you can use are saved in your browser's LocalStorage and it allows you to add multiple rules to a website. This way, you can have different styles and functionality on each page of a website. Also, Custom Web supports both Stylish and Custom Selectors (as long as it’s supported by your browser).
This means that you can select any element on the page to apply a style.
